I’ve mostly been working this week – dealing with a couple of client projects that began just before the holidays – so 2011 has been sort of sneaking up on me.
We’ve got another family get together planned tomorrow (December 31 was my Dad’s birthday) and then am looking forward to maybe getting in a day of photography sometime over the weekend – perhaps on that magical 01/01/10 date! Last year, I scooted off to the Golden Gate Bridge on New Year’s Day and had some fun with my little Canon PowerShot S90 in hand!
I love shooting pictures this time of year because the sun is low in the sky and the light is especially nice. We also might get some clouds in the sky – which always makes photos more interesting that the boring blue sky so typical of California!
Speaking of photography, I put together a quick Keynote presentation of some of my best images shot in 2010 – you can see a Quicktime movie of my 2010 Portfolio on Flickr.
Best wishes to you and yours for a great New Year’s holiday – and a wonderful 2011. What a wild ride it’ll be!
