Grace Shim reports on Berkshire Hathaway’s increased holdings in FDC stock.
Berkshire increased its First Data holdings from 4.8 million shares on March 31 to 11.2 million shares on Dec. 31, according to Securities and Exchange Commission filings released Monday. That’s about 1.5 percent of First Data’s shares.
Although Berkshire more than doubled the number of First Data shares it owns, the value of the investment declined from $419.9 million to $397.8 million during that same time period.
