Dan Gillmor reports that Google is purchasing weblog provider Pyra Labs. I’ll raise again my request for better weblog indexing displayed through another Google tab (like Google News). I suppose another idea would be for Google to trade hosting to AdWord placements tied to subjects on various weblog postings? Anyway, it’ll be very interesting to see what Google does with the weblog technology. Lots of comments about the deal on Slashdot.
