I have some enjoyable memories of summer smells from various places over the years. One is from the boardwalk at Seaside Heights, New Jersey where my mom’s family liked to vacation. The smells were a mix of salty ocean air, sugary salt water taffy, mini donuts, and creosote from the wood in the boardwalk.
