Ah, a nice treat from my kids:
We had a great brunch at Mike’s Cafe in Portola Valley (Mike’s Scramble is great!), a quick 1.5 mile walk with Chris, followed by Star Trek (also great!) and shortly I’m heading out the patio to light up the Weber to grill some Santa Maria tri-tip along with corn on the cob. Yum!
But, all is not sweetness and light – we also have to take out the garbage and, worst of all, the recycling tonight – yuck! 😉 It’s also hard to believe that our daytime is about to start getting shorter again!
Weird observation of the day: almost 60 percent of the San Francisco Chronicle’s Sunday Bay Area Section B is devoted to covering – obituaries! That’s fully 3-1/2 pages out of the total of six in the whole section!
