9/11

IMG_0130.jpg

Yesterday, driving home, I passed the Menlo Park Fire Station at the corner of Valparaiso and Alameda de las Pulgas.

The firefighters of Engine 4 at the station had put up their own personal 9/11 remembrance on their front lawn.

Where were you on the morning of September 11, 2001? Here’s my story – as posted a year later on September 11, 2002. As I said then, “A day to remember. Always.” And, later, freedom is not free!

How has your life changed in the seven years since?
