Looking at this beautiful morning view of San Francisco, it’s hard to believe that we may be again on the cusp of going to war across the oceans, thousands of miles away. I’ve noticed that the general level of activity around here just seems muted. Less traffic, fewer people out shopping, dining, whatever. Maybe cocooning is back in vogue again? Certainly consumer confidence is way down, the stock market reflects depressed expectations, etc. Let’s hope our world becomes a better place again sometime soon.
