Russell Beattie: A business model for the Universal Personal Proxy?

Russell posts some initial thoughts re: a business model for his UPP approach.

It’s funny you mentioned Groove, because that’s how I see the business model: A free client that does basic stuff and a more full featured for-money client that does more and a very expensive server that provides “ultra-peer” services such as presence and web-hosting, etc.

Ugh. Why a “very expensive server”? Why not a service?

He’s also outlined the functionality he’s thinking of.
