I’ve spent the last 6 hours upgrading my laptop’s hard drive from a 20 GB drive to a 40 GB drive. The process was made ridiculously complex thanks to the new Windows XP activation – which gets in the way “big time” and interferes with a normal “cloning” process.
As you might predict, the procedures for such an upgrade posted on Microsoft’s support website don’t deal with the complete procedure required.
Why is such an obvious upgrade so darn difficult? Such a huge waste of time on a great fall weekend!
