In Menlo Park, one of our favorite restaurants is Left Bank. It’s a wonderful French bistro style place that has wonderful food and a lively, exciting atmosphere.
Left Bank was scheduled to open its fourth location in San Jose’s Santana Row later this fall.
“While the fire postpones completion of the project, I anticipate that the developer, Federal Realty, will move forward promptly with rebuilding the project to realize their vision,” says Edward Levine, Left Bank co-owner.
The restaurant and the Santana Row complex were scheduled to open on September 19th. It is not clear the extent our premises were damaged but we are committed to rebuilding the restaurant and continuing the project.
Left Bank will carry on and seek additional Bay Area opportunities to grow our restaurant company. We have a talented management group that is becoming proficient at working through adversity with a highly positive attitude.
We’ve had personal experience working with the staff at Left Bank Menlo Park — they really do have a “highly positive attitude” and go out of their way to make things easy. Let’s hope they get their new Santana Row location up and running as soon as possible.
