I love this line from the Wall St. Journal’s coverage of today’s management shakeup at AOL Time Warner.
The executive is infamous for a 1995 comment about Time Warner’s failed Pathfinder Internet strategy, which he said gave new meaning to the term “black hole.”
The executive responsible for that quote is Don Logan, formerly CEO of AOLTW’s Time Inc. magazine unit who today became chairman of a new group that includes troubled AOL. I’ll bet Steve Case had an interesting time at the board meeting today.
