Breier Dudley reports on Microsoft’s new software licensing approach which is driving some enterprise customers loony.

A survey done in April by Yankee Group analyst Laura DiDio and Sunbelt Software found that 80 percent of customers viewed the licensing changes negatively.

“You would not believe the level of pure vitriol that we heard when we got the survey responses from people ˜ Microsoft was likened to everything from thieves to the mafia to drug dealers,” DiDio said.
