The Seattle Times’ Pacific Northwest magazine is devoted to travel this weekend with the cover story being on Edmonds, Washington-based Rick Steves. This is a great profile of the man behind the popular European travel guides. We’ve used his travel books on our recent trips to Europe and they’re just great. His retail store in Edmonds is a delight to visit as well. Last time I was there a couple of months ago, Rick wandered through talking to some of the visitors.
