My heart grieves with the families of the brave souls on-board Columbia. In addition to their professional skills and responsibilities, three of them also were amateur radio operators.
For many years, I had a poster on the wall of Columbia’s first ever shuttle launch. Titled “Columbia Flies”, it was a most inspiring image.
