This article by Julia Moskin brings back memories of our years in the Hudson Valley in the mid-1970’s. Our kids were small and we used to make a couple of family trips across the Hudson to pick apples at orchards on the highlands along the western bank of the river. I love the name “Breezy Hill Orchards”! Let’s hope Mrs. Ryan’s business survives this year’s meager results and comes back strong next year.
