A few months ago, I mentioned the identity-based encryption (IBE) project at Stanford based upon the invention of IBE by Dr. Dan Boneh and Dr. Matt Franklin. This morning the company founded to commercialize products based upon IBE, Voltage Security, was featured in articles by John Markoff in the New York Times and Don Clark in the Wall St. Journal.
