Silicon Valley’s venture capitalists are in the worst slump in at least three decades — and times aren’t expected to get better soon. Losses in the venture capital industry have been so prolonged that some VCs could be forced out of business and some patrons might decide to pull their money out, a new survey suggests. That scenario could eventually mean less money trickling down to Silicon Valley’s entrepreneurs.
